What’s your dream city - the one you’ve loved since childhood, even if it’s total chaos for your work? Like chasing a beautiful disaster but still falling for it.

I wanna wake up in a city that doesn't sleep - Frank Sinatra.
My friends who know me, know how much I have admired the idea of being in New York City. This is the city I have always dreamed of being in since childhood. Growing up, I watched a lot of Bollywood and Hollywood films that were set in New York, and you could tell that the city has its own energy - fueled with dreams, passion, romance, and stories.
I wish to live the life of a New Yorker. I love watching people walk down the street, putting on their coats, grabbing coffee, and moving with purpose. I don’t see the same energy in Los Angeles. I don’t hate LA, but New York always feels so alive and young. I just wish to be there someday.
But hey, I just had my work displayed in Times Square, lighting up the city. Maybe that’s a sign for me. I can only hope for it. I wish to be in New York when the time is right. I want this love to grow stronger, to romanticize it even more. I love the feeling of craving. I’ve always craved everything in life and showed up at the right time.
New York, will I be yours someday? dream of waking up, slipping on my coat, wandering your streets with my camera, watching people, grabbing coffee from a nearby café, and losing myself in work. I believe the right moment will come, and if it doesn’t, I’ll make it happen. Whenever I think of you, I’m reminded of Frank Sinatra, and I’d play one of his songs when I’m there.
I’m writing this with his “Theme From New York, New York” playing in the background. A little cheesy, isn’t it? I’ll leave some space below to fill with pictures of my experience when I finally arrive.
